Polarized light

hi experts, my question is: is necesary the polarized light and the sensitive tint to watch color when i etch stainless steels like 304 or 316, carbon steels like an a106, a36, duplex stainless steels like an ur52n with the following reagent:

Beraha BI
Klemm I
Sulfamic beraha's
Beraha cds
Sodium metabisulfite beraha's
LB Reagent
