I saw womething pretty strange. I etched an other manafacturer's contact tip which is obtained by extrusion (mine is obtained by uniaxial pressure and sintering) and I managed to see the grain boundaries of silver.
So either mine is too small to be seen with my microscope(x500), either the process for making the same material (and it's the same) has an effect on the microstructure.
What do you think of that ?
