683 ml Ethanol
98 ml 2-Butoxy Ethanol
B
83 ml Perchloric Acid
134 ml water
Mix A & B
I forget what voltage is used. We stopped using this procedure.
The solution may be reused, but it does get stale after a while and must be discarded.
Water must be added to this solution before disposal.
Are you sure you want to go through with this procedure? Perchloric acid is nasty and unstable. Read precaution to handling and using this acid because it is a serious explosion hazard.
