I have done the estimation of nonmetallic inclusion using ASTM standard methods, comparing the standard charts. I have calculated the average indicative numbers, eg oxide inclusions- 2 of ~ 8um . can you pl. tell me what this indicative number represents, is it area %, or no. of inclusions per area of .8mm dia(observation was done at 100x using a circle of 800um dia in the microscope as given in the ASTM chart).How the results should be submitted?
